Handover with operational and management plan

The handover of the AI system involves transferring responsibility to those who will operate and manage the system.

It is essential to clearly define responsibilities related to both the technical and security aspects of the AI system, as well as those concerning clinical operations. The use of AI systems may require the organization to establish new roles and responsibilities not previously encountered, particularly related to human oversight, performance monitoring, and managing data quality throughout the AI system’s lifecycle. Procedures must also be developed for how to log and address system malfunctions and unexpected performance issues.

Before the AI system is handed over to the operational team, testing and training must be completed, and all roles and responsibilities must be clearly assigned and in place.
